ZSGG is well-known for our gimmick tournaments. For this open-to-anyone demo we're pulling a switcheroo and NOT having a gimmick in our gimmick tournament.
ZeroSpace.gg Presents: STING
We're all super excited about ZeroSpace's open demo where anyone can play, and we want to hold a tournament that is super friendly to new and lower level players to encourage anyone to play.
So this time around, breaking from our non-standard tournament traditions, we're holding our first S.T.I.N.G.: Standard Tournament Involving No Gimmicks! This will be double elimination so that new and lower level players have a higher chance of getting to play more than one match.
A ZeroSpace community member donated a $200 prize pool after our last tournament. We'll also be hosting this tournament using Matcherino, allowing anybody to contribute to the prize pool.
This tournament will be played Feb 1-2, 2025. Exact times for each day will be announced soon but likely to start between 8-10a PST, 11a-1p EST, 1600-1800 UTC each day.
Tournament player hangout on the day of the tournament will be in ZSGG Discord in the #tournament-player-hangout channel, and prize pool will include getting a ZSGG discord role for Tournament Champion (for 1st), Tournament Finalist (for 2nd), Tournament Semifinalist (for 3nd-4th), and Tournament Player for everyone who plays.
