A tournament where your faction/merc/hero are chosen for you -- can you adapt to any given game situation well enough to win the title?

Prizes:

1st: 175 dollars, beta key for you or a friend which includes game at launch, custom ZSGG Discord Avatar.

2nd: 75 dollars, beta key for you or a friend (does not include game at launch) custom ZSGG Discord Avatar.

3rd: 50 dollars beta key for you or a friend (does not include game at launch) custom ZSGG Discord Avatar.

4th: 25 dollars

Bonus for highest-placing player who started playing open weekend: beta key for you or a friend which includes game at launch, custom ZSGG Discord Avatar.

Two random drawings for players who do not place: One for a beta key (does not include game at launch), and one 25 dollar giveaway. Random drawings will take place on the final day of the tournament.

Rules:

  • Each match your main faction, mercenary, hero, host, and map will be randomized using this ZeroSpace.gg All-Random MatchMaker: https://www.zerospace.gg/labratory/all-random
    • First game’s host will be determined by the ZSGG All-Random MatchMaker
    • After that, whichever player loses will host the next game.
  • Single elimination bracket with randomized seeding.
  • Signups will last until Saturday 23rd at 14h00 UTC
  • Tournament will start Saturday 23rd at 17h00 UTC
    • with all the matches up to the round of 16
    • All the matches in a round will have an allocated time window to start and finish (TBA)
    • Players are welcomed to stream and share their games
  • Second day of the tournament will start Sunday 24th at 17h00 UTC
    • Round of 8 will have simultaneous matches
      • One of them will be streamed by the casters
    • Semis, 3rd place decider and final will be one after the other
      • All the matches will be streamed by the casters
  • Matches structures
    • Best of 1 up to round of 128 (if there is a need for it)
    • Best of 3 up to round of 8
    • Best of 5 for semi finals and bronze decider
    • Best of 7 for the final
  • Self-report results on the Challonge as soon as your games are over for that round.
    • Please take screenshots of your victory screen
    • Please have replay saves set to “on” so the games you host are recorded.
